Fees

Before we meet I offer 15 minute telephone consultations to discuss your difficulties and think with you about whether we can help. This call is free.  This is also an opportunity for you to share any concerns or fears you have about coming to see a psychologist. If I think we are not the most appropriate people to support you with your difficulty we will offer you an onward referral where I can.

We know fees for private practice are expensive, so if you have a budget please do discuss this with us at the first appointment.

Our fee is currently £155 for an assessment session which must be paid at least 48 hours before the first session. We charge £135 for a 50 minute therapy session. We offer a discount if you pay before or on the date of your appointment (so the cost is then £125 per session).

Supervision is charged at £125 per hour. There are other fees for reports and school visits, which we can discuss if this is something that would be helpful for you or your child.

We do not accept work funded directly by insurance companies.

Cancellation policy: Please give us two days notice if you wish to cancel a session, as this gives us the chance to offer the session to someone else who might be waiting. If you cancel more than 48 hours in advance we can then offer the session to someone else and will not need to charge you. If you cancel your session with less than 48 hours notice or do not attend a session we will charge you the normal fee for the session.
